The Journalistisches Seminar is equipped with state-of-the-art digital technology. The facilities correspond largely to the standard currently encountered in newspapers and radio stations. Print and online production facilities include 25 notebooks with mobile internet access via Wireless-LAN, 12 workstations equipped with QuarkXPress and Photoshop. Radio production facilities include 25 minidisk recorders, 5 DIGAS editing stations (DIGAS is the standard system used by Germany's largest public broadcasting company ARD). Television production facilities include DV cameras with sound equipment (Sony DSR-PD 150, Wendt mixer), 2 AVID Xpress editing stations.
